Sometimes I wish I was that kid that ran towards the sea
I wish I did not want to go so sleep
I wish I was that kid that smiled no matter what
I wish I had the things I never had.
Sometimes I wish that time would turn
Back to the day when IΒ was born
And get to start my life again
I wish I could do so much more.
I wish I could return to innocence
And just enjoy the simple things
I wish I got excited when the sun comes out
I wish I loved the snow cooling my back.
But now the smoke is sinking in my skin
Society is dark and grim
Nobody cares and love is just a word
Such disappointment, sometimes I wish I changed the world
Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to be so mean
That’s why I love so much to go to sleep and dream.
